{sticky notes...part 3}

Eliza is extremely ticklish under her chin and around her neck.
She waves and smiles at strangers (closes her eyes when she smiles).
She wanted the doctor to walk her around.

Eliza, 10 months
She loves "so big", peekaboo, and saying "hi".  She tries to say uh-oh.  She walks up to 10 steps and says "mom".  She loves to cuddle and pat my back

Henry (4 years old):  Dad is really a nice person.  I just want to love up on him.
(at breakfast table)

Henry loves "Praise to the Man" and can sing all of the words.

When Chris was leaving for work..."Call me if you need anything today!"

Eliza will sing along ABC's with us, and will do the hands and fingers for Itsy Bitsy Spider.  She scrunches up her nose a lot and will smile with it scrunched.  She sticks out her tongue when she is concentrating.

Eliza, 13 months old
Eliza finally learned to get into standing all by herself in the middle of the floor.  She can crawl up steps and now crawls down on her tummy.

August 29, 2011
Eliza signed "please" and said "please" a couple of times today.  She signed "more" and said "more" once.  She says "lalala" on her favorite book "Moo, Baa, Lalala"
When I ask her what a bee says she says bzzz.
When I ask her what a dog says she says woof.
When I ask her what a sheep says she says aaaa.
Eliza sings EIEO in the right place when we are singing Old Macdonald.

Henry (age 4)
During Sharing time the singing leader was teaching a new song and held up a picture.  She gave a hint...pure and ___(it was supposed to be clean).
Henry raised his hand and said "celestial".  It definitely fit the picture of everyone in white.

Henry (age 6)
What a dear!  Henry woke up my dad at 6:15 in the morning.  He remembered they were flying out at 6:45 and did not want them to be late.  The flight happened to be that night:)
He loves to teach us lessons all the time.  He usually has pictures prepared that he drew himself and even asks us questions during the lessons.  He has taught us about many subjects, temple marriage, repentance, the Atonement, etc.
Henry really loves to draw and will be at the table for a long time creating something.  He wrote his own "family blog" which of course I saved!
He told me he wants to be a principal when he grows up.
He still is able to destroy almost anything....?
He recited by memory the scriptures describing the first vision in our Primary program.
He did such a beautiful job!
He also has borne his testimony at home a couple of times.  I have felt the spirit as he speaks and can tell he also feels the spirit as he testifies to what he believes is true.

December 2013
Aunt Brittany was making a little book for my parents for Christmas and asked my kids for some quotes.  She had me ask them what their favorite thing about each one was and what they liked to do with each one.
Henry's favorite thing about Poppy was that he was funny.  His favorite thing about Gramme was that she was nice.  He loved cuddling up with Gramme in the office and reading by themselves.  He loved going to the dump with Poppy.
Eliza's favorite thing about Poppy was that he was nice and silly.  Her favorite thing about Gramme was that she was nice.  She loved cuddling with Gramme and reading books with her and playing games with Poppy.

Chris took both kids seperately to buy gifts for the other one for Christmas.  Henry wanted to get Eliza a bow and arrow and Eliza wanted to get Henry a sword.  Awesome!

In the car
"Dad, Eliza is the most independent girl I have ever met!"
(this was said with much expression from Henry)

Eliza told me she wants to be a nurse, a fireman, and a mom.
(3 years old)

"God does not want you to do that"
-Eliza told me this when I did something she did not want me to.

"Well, you have an unthinking brain!"
-an insult to Eliza from Henry

"I can't believe my eyes!"
-Eliza seeing fireworks on the computer for the Fourth of July.

Chris:  I heard you went to time out a lot.
Eliza:  Yep, I sure did!
(3 years old)

October 2011
(journal entry on computer paper found)
Beautiful weather, beautiful trees and sky!  Henry is loving preschool.  He is so funny sometimes.  He just discovered "little bunny foo foo" today and it is a match made in heaven!  Some words he likes to say different..."greeage" instead of garage, "granilla" instead of granola, "peeanyo" instead of piano.  Eliza today said "yes, please" clear as day without a prompt.  She also labeled banana as soon as she saw it.  She loves to walk by herself and explore and get into things.  She is getting her sea legs under her with no cast!  She can now get back into standing when she is on the floor or falls and is walking without a limp.  Eliza labels many things and loves to say what noises animals make.  She tries to sing the ABC's and Old Macdonald and also Tiny Turtle.  We hear "up" all day...this means up the stairs or up in your arms or down to run around and also to get out of the stroller.  Eliza loves to read books, look at books, take books off shelves, and she spends a lot of her time doing this!

"I don't go to school.  I'm only three."
-Eliza
