{play days}

Just some everyday pictures...

A classic picture of Eliza.
  She loves to be undressed, loves to play and talk on the phone, loves a little jewelry to glam things up, and loves listening to music...the tongue cracks me up!

Henry built a really cool track by adding blocks to make another level of tracks.  It was pretty cool and he wanted me to take his picture with it.

Love him!

{primary water party}

Here are a few pictures from our Primary water activity.
  I was in charge this year and I am glad it turned out so well.  I had been out of town for a month so I was worried it would not all come together.  The kids had a really good time and I think we will make it a yearly tradition.  We had three different water games and had the kids rotate to each station.  We finished off with lots of otter pops and relaxing under the trees.

{happy birthday henry!}

Henry had a great birthday!
I can't believe he is five years old...that sounds so old.  He is leaving the toddler and preschool stage behind and moving on into the developmental stage of "school age" ...crazy!!!

We went to Barnes and Noble for story time and also to use a gift card he received for his birthday!  He had a great time picking out something fun!

Later Caleb and Gabriella came over to play.

Henry and Caleb playing around in front of Firehouse Pizza.
  Henry wanted to go to Monkey Joe's for his birthday and then to Firehouse Pizza...which has his favorite gluten free pizza.  At the last minute he decided he wanted Caleb to come and his family.  It was really fun and I am so glad he ended up inviting them!

At the restaurant (Brother Wood was out of town).

Eliza and Elise loved their fire hats!

Soooo hyper and excited!  They even got to have some root beer!

Henry and Caleb love to build different designs with waffle blocks in the basement.  They are always coming up with new ideas.

{utah 2012...the end}

We were able to go and visit Grandpa and Grandma Dea during a respite in Eliza's sickness.  The kids love playing at the Dea's house with their Aunts and Uncle's old toys.  We also at one point played some bowling on the x-box...Henry loved it!

We went to Aunt Jessica and Uncle Amos' church party to say goodbye.  The kids were really impressed with the huge forms that they could put their heads through.

{utah 2012...even more continuing}

More pictures!
August 8--August 10

Eliza was seeming better so we decided to go to the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake.  It was fun and the kids loved seeing all the different types of birds.

I can really tell from this picture that Eliza had been through the wringer

We went to the zoo again with Grandma Karen.  The kids were glad to go back and see the camels, play on the playground, and ride the train.

{utah 2012...more continuing}

These are pictures I took in between the sickness and being miserable:).  Eliza was such a doll even when sick and Henry never complained...he was such a trooper.  The huge disappointment was not being able to go to St George.  Henry and I were SO excited, but fifteen minutes before we were out the door Eliza started to throw up.  We had to cancel everything and that was hard.  We will get there someday!  Thank you to everyone for making the good parts so great!  We love coming to Utah and seeing family and friends...and OUR beautiful mountains!

August 3rd---August 7th

Eliza had been up all night throwing up...she was so tired she went back to sleep around 10:30 in the morning.  I went with Henry to meet Grandpa Craig, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Doug, Megan, and Aunt Jessica and Uncle Amos for a quick visit at the park.  Henry was so thrilled to get out and see family and play.  It was really nice to see everyone, but the visit was much too short.  It was so nice of everyone to take a long drive to see us!

After the park I took Henry to get some yummy frozen yogurt...He was in Heaven!

Henry working with Poppy.
They both worked really hard and got a lot done... but of course they were...FILTHY!:)

I innocently told Henry to put his arm around Rock for the picture...that was a bad idea!  It scared Rock so bad!  (see picture below)

Poor sweet Eliza...you can see the bags under her eyes.
