{the rest of may}

Oh my goodness gracious!
Something broke on my blog months ago and I have not been able to write a post for a long time.
  I finally changed to a different internet provider and it looks like this has done the trick!
I hope you truly appreciate all this kids!!!:)

This is just going to be a round up of May...
I have a lot of pictures to post and write about and I am very behind!

Henry is starting to make some really adorable and cool art!  He loves to draw space!
  I also did a little photo shoot with Henry after church.  It was fun to get a couple of cute photos of us that he can keep.  I am also trying to have more pictures of just me.  So often we "the mothers" are not in the picture.  I want my kids to visualize who I was and what I looked like especially when they were young.  I chose to have my picture taken in the library sitting on my favorite chair and wearing my favorite blouse right now.

{friends}

We had three cute neighbor/church friends over for the whole day.
  They were so sweet and fun to have at our home.  Here are a couple of pictures when we were playing outside.  The kids started to play a fun pretend game that they had to clean up the house before the mean lady came to see if it was done:).  This also involved "painting" all the cement steps and siding of our house.

The last picture is of Eliza's new room, it is not quite done but she really loves it!  I am so glad!

{a family vacation...disney world, day 2}

We had such a great day!
  Everything was planned out much better than the day before and that made me and the kids happier.  We started out at Belle's Cottage...it was a wait, but well worth it.  We went on some fun rides, had lunch, took some pictures, had some ice cream, rode a train, went on more rides and then picked out a toy.

  We said goodbye to Disney World and went back to our hotel to rest a little and then go swimming at the pool.  The kids absolutely loved this...Eliza threw one of the biggest fits ever when we had to leave!  It was a wonderful trip for our little family.  The kids were sad to say good bye to our hotel and all the fun, but it was certainly nice to come back to our home.

Henry on the ferry we took to get to Disney World.  We took LOTS of different types of transportation to get to our parking lot, Disney, inside of Disney, etc.

So life like!

Belle was great!

They were waiting their turn to see Belle and take a picture with her.
 Henry grabbed her hand and held on tight.  They were both a little nervous and excited.

Henry was SO excited to go on the Peter Pan ride.
He was jumping up and down and talking a mile a minute after he got off the ride.

This ended up being a REALLY cool 3D movie.
The kids really thought this was fantastic!  They kept trying to grab what they saw come at them.  There was wind and water and even a little explosion at the end.  Henry kept telling me that he got wet...he could not believe that we got wet just like the characters.  The show was about Donald Duck trying to fill in for Mickey Mouse conducting the orchestra.  He kept getting himself into different scenes of Disney characters.  It was neat!

Eliza insisted on putting on her own glasses:)

Henry loved the Swiss Family Robinson tree house.

She just got out of the pool and layed out on the chair just like she knew exactly what to do.

 No she is not drowning...she likes to test her abilities in the water.

{a family vacation...disney world, day 1}

Walt Disney World

Tuesday morning we ate breakfast at our hotel and then hurried to get to the Animal Kingdom right when it opened.  I really liked this area of the park.  It was not as busy as I had imagined and it was really beautiful.  We walked through some cool jungle paths and saw a HUGE tree that they carved animals in.  Henry and I went on a water log ride that he absolutely loved!  His favorite part was going down the waterfall.  It ended up being his favorite ride overall.  I think he is really going to like water rides like his mama.  We then all went together on safari ride.  We rode on a big all terrain truck and saw lots of really cool animals.  Some of them were really close to our truck.  We saw a cheetah on the prowl which hardly ever happens.  The driver said we should probably not stop all the way.  Both kids really enjoyed this.  After the safari ride we went to The Festival of the Lion...I think:)...anyway it was fabulous!  The kids did not move a muscle and their eyes were so big!  It had all the characters of The Lion King and was full of cool dancers and singers and huge stage props, flying acrobats and more!:)  The kids got to choose a treat after the show and they were so excited to pick out Mickey Mouse ice cream bars.  We then decided to head back to the hotel for a nap.  We thought maybe Henry would fall asleep, but he did not.  We knew Eliza would take a nap, but she did not!  At least they had some rest time and were out of the hot sun.

Henry wanted to take a picture of this huge leaf.

seriously...two peas in a pod.

Big Ostrich eggs.

Our truck...and Henry Boy.

Eliza was very excited to wear one of her favorite shirts today.  We did wash at night and she ended up choosing it the next day too.

* * *

In the afternoon we went to The Magic Kingdom.
  I have to say I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this place.  It was sooo busy and sooo hot and overwhelming to try and figure out where everything was and where the fast passes were and how to time it just right so we did not have to wait in line and not have too much time just killing time before the next ride.  We had planned to stay for the parade and fireworks, but neither child napped and they were so done by dinner time.  We just called it a day and went back to our hotel.  The next day we would start in the morning and I was hoping that would be better and that we could figure things out a bit better!

Henry and Eliza were very excited to meet Mickey Mouse.

Oh the gift shops!!!  The next day (our last day) we let them pick out one thing.
