Cuddling in bed with my sweet loves of my life = a happy birthday.
Trying to get a good picture with no funny faces is impossible..for all of us:).
Sometimes the funniest faces just seem so "real life" that I have to add one in the mix to help me remember their little faces and glances that they might out grow when they are older and that I will probably eventually forget.

I'm so, so glad your little Eliza is healing so wonderfully. What a blessing! And what heartache and worry you have all been through.
I particularly enjoyed reading about your piano. That truly was a gift from a loving Heavenly Father! And what a beauty! A home just isn't a home without a piano. What a touching story that will always be so precious to you.
And now, since you mentioned that this is kind of a private journal, please let me know if I should stop reading it! I can't help but be interested in your sweet family. ;-) But I don't want to intrude.
