We had such a great time at the aquarium in Salt Lake.  We had a yummy lunch afterwards and a few birthday gifts for the kids!  It was so nice to spend time with Grandma Karen, Uncle Michael and Aunt Amanda, Uncle Amos and Aunt Jessica and of course our two cute cousins Rock and Jace.

Happy Birthday Taylor!!!
Aunt Brittany threw a fantastic pirate birthday party and all the kids had a really fun time!  After the friend party we had a family lunch with both sides of the family invited.  It was a great day!  My kids LOVE spending time with their cousins Kayson, Taylor, and Sophie!

What can I say?  I LOVE this girl!!!  It is so fun to spend time together with all our kids.  Hyrum is sleeping and is not pictured:)

{utah 2013}

We really had such an amazing and busy time in Utah this year.

We first stayed at Gramme and Poppy's and then at Grandma Karen's and then a little bit at the end back with Gramme and Poppy.  We were able to get together and make some really great memories with Grandpa Craig and Grandma Laura and of course Grandma and Grandpa Dea.  That is not even mentioning all your great aunts and uncles and cousins.  We met baby Jace for the first time (adorable) and also cousin Caroline (another adorable).  Aunt Kierste and Uncle Rick drove from Texas with their kids to come and visit also.

  All I could think about what was how lucky you both are to have so many supportive and warm people related to you...that love you!!!  I feel very blessed and I know you will too as you grow and find you have lots of people you can turn to and talk with.

This year I did not take very many pictures and I did not write down what we did and when.

  We loved seeing everyone and doing everything, but some really great times were so great...that there are no pictures!!  I am not sure we got everybody, but I am hoping so! 

 Another pilgrimage down and we are excited for another!!!

it is amazing how a relatively small space can be so life changing!

  I am so glad we decided to finish it.

{a big girl's room}

I finally finished Eliza's big girl room.

  She really wanted a yellow and pink room.  Those are her favorite colors right now.  As we all know that can change...sometimes quickly.  I wanted her to love her room, but did not want to spend a lot of money on it, especially if she changed her mind.  We also did not really want to paint her walls over again.  We REALLY needed the red dresser to go in her bedroom and so it became a red, yellow, and pink color scheme.  This was a little bit more difficult to make work, but I think it turned out sweet and most importantly she loves it!  I just need to change out the pictures in the frames with pictures of her as a big girl!  There was a lot of painting involved in this room.  I really don't like to paint but then I find something I love and have to redo it or it is such a great price and all it needs is some paint.....it continues on and on.  Someone found the desk for me for ten bucks and I painted it cream and distressed it and used gold rub n buff for the metal.  I painted the dress up mirror and the headboard (twenty dollar find) and the side table....oh and the little frame.

The last picture is of Eliza...wow what an outfit!  Let us break it down shall we?  She is wearing a dress up hat, her regular clothes, a dress up dress, her potty watch, and tennis shoes with no socks.  Her baby and blanket are ready for take off.
