I participated in the Race for the Cure last year with Eliza and Henry.
This year we signed up again. It was a beautiful day and wonderful race.
I was in DESPERATE need of a pedicure. I had been so busy that there was never enough time for such a luxury:). Eliza had started asking if she could get her toenails painted. She had never had her fingernails or toenails painted (I just never even thought about it) so I decided we would go together on a girl's adventure! We had such a great time and she was so delighted! It was really fun to do this somewhere special for the first and only time! Maybe she can go again when she is sixteen:)! As for now I made a trip to Walmart to invest in some nail polish so we can do it together at home.
I finally decided I was done with our laundry room! It was the last room that still had not been painted. This means it was a little brown depressing box. Brown flat paint on the ceiling and brown flat paint on the walls. It was already really tiny, but I decided it did not have to be dingy! We painted the ceilings white and the walls a blue green and Chris put in cupboards and painted them white. We still have to put in a wood piece to cover the gap between the cupboards, but there is already such a remarkable difference! It is so light and airy! I wish we had a before picture...:)

I just found this picture. Eliza is ready to go! She has on her rain boots, her tutu, and is carrying her leap frog tag system. And no it is not raining!
