{a family vacation...cocoa beach}

We decided to go on a little family vacation this month.
  Henry has been dying to see the ocean for a couple of years now and both kids have been talking about Disneyworld lately.
 The start was a little rocky...the kids were unusually cranky on the plane and it took forever to land, get our luggage, rent a car, and then drive to our hotel.
 They ate dinner really late and then were asleep by 10:30p.m.!!!
That is crazy!
Their regular bedtime is 6:45/7:00p.m.
 Finally we were settled in and asleep...getting all rested up for the next days adventure...
Cocoa Beach and NASA.

Finally at our hotel...eating dinner at 8:00 p.m.

Oh my Goodness, the kids LOVED the beach!

WATER AND SAND...enough said.

Henry was so excited to see the Atlantic Ocean.
They loved the big waves that would hit them (we were holding their hands) and would beg to do it over and over again.  They had so much fun building and creating in the sand and then going to get buckets of sea water to help things out.

We could have stayed there all day easily, but we knew Henry would really love the Kennedy Space Center.  We did not tell him until we were done with the beach and he was really excited!
He was not excited enough to stay awake.
The beach is always really exhausting for some reason, but that combined with the late night before...
they were out like lights in minutes.
It took us about thirty minutes to get to NASA so they got a little power nap.
....to be continued!
