{our family picture}

Here are a couple of our family pictures from August.

{utah 2013...goodbye}

Our last weekend before heading back to Illinois was super busy, but really fantastic!  Chris and I went out to dinner with Rick, Kierste, Jaron, and Brittany.  It was a really fun evening!  We went to The Mandarin, which was of course delicious and we just talked and talked and laughed and laughed.  It was nice to spend time together as siblings with no little ones...:)  The next day we had family pictures.  That was an event!!!  Mandi did a great job, but there were a lot of families and a lot people and a lot of kids!  It was exhausting!  We went out to a yummy lunch afterward and then went to the new Disney movie Planes.  It was Henry and Eliza's first time going to a movie theater.  They were both so excited!!!  Henry loved the movie.  Eliza got a little bored.  We had birthday cupcakes at Gramme and Poppy's to celebrate all the boys birthdays that are close around July, August, and September.  It was a really nice weekend to end our trip.  We loved spending time with everyone and can't wait to come back!!!

{utah 2013...a tea party}

We decided that we needed to have a girl's day with all the cute little girl cousins.
  The boys stayed up at Gramme and Poppy's and went on a hike.
We went to Gardner Village and looked around at all the cute shoppes.  We had a yummy lunch and then went to the cutest little tea party ever!  The girlies were all dressed up and so excited they got to wear hats and aprons too!  They picked out what dessert they wanted and what beverage.  At the end they were presented with a little fairy all their own.  Kate, Emma, and Eliza tagging along played fairies the rest of the day.  It was such a fun and sweet time to spend with the "women" of the family!  On a side note...Gramme saved the day and killed a bee right on the table...she saved her grand kids and we never laughed so hard:)

{utah 2013...a train station and motorcycles}

Chris, Henry, and Eliza met up with Grandpa Craig and had a great time in Ogden at the old train station there.  They had a yummy lunch and then headed for home to make nap time.  There was an another day that Grandpa Craig and Grandma Laura came over to my parent's house.  I really wish I would have taken some pictures, but I did not get out my camera.  We had such a wonderful relaxing time.  We sat out in the backyard and chatted and played with chalk.  We also ended up having a water gun fight...the kids thought that was so great!  They loved to get Grandpa and Grandma wet!!!  Later that night we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Dea's house and hung out and talked and the kids even got to go on a motorcycle ride with Aunt Liz!

{utah 2013...walbridge family pictures}

We had a lovely Sunday afternoon with Grandma Karen, Uncle Amos and Aunt Jessica, Jace, Uncle Michael and Aunt Amanda, and Rock.  It was nice to catch up and let the kids play together.  The kids were getting a little crazy for a Sunday so I read the friend to them to help make things a bit calmer.  Jess had someone come over before dinner and take some impromptu photos of all of us.  The kids were not quite in the mood, but I think some turned out great!
  We can see how much they love their Grandma!

{utah 2013...even more continuing}

We have been going none stop and it has been wonderful.  We have seen family and friends and enjoyed being in beautiful Utah!  One day we had a nice relaxing yummy lunch with Grandma Karen and then spent the afternoon at Liberty Park.  It was really hot, but so fun!  We also went to Target to look around for some home decor for Karen...the kids ended up leaving with a toy:)  Eliza got her first princess doll Cinderella...yes, I finally relented (it is not a barbie though).  Henry picked out a plane from the new Disney movie.  Later we went to Aunt Liz and Uncle Jay's house.  We just hung out and talked and played.  The kids had such a great time!  They got to fly a remote control helicopter and that just made their day!  The last three pictures are of the crazy pack of cousins at Gramme and Poppy's house.  It was so fun having Rick and Kierste here in Utah with their fun kids!  It was busy with lots of little bodies, but SO MUCH FUN!  All you need to have fun is an old pick-up truck!  Ten kids seven years old and under!
